Return Policy

Vialta offers a 30-day return policy on selected items. Within 30 days of receipt of your shipment, you may return your item, for any reason, for a full refund of the purchase price granted you have a RMA number. Shipping and handling costs will not be refunded.


Prior to returning any product purchased directly from Vialta's online store, please contact Vialta's Customer Support to receive a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. To do this, please call Vialta Customer Care at 1-877-963-8383.


Please have the following four items on hand when requesting an RMA number from Vialta: customer name, order number, serial number and nature of the problem.


All product returns must be in new condition and: be 100% complete, contain ALL original boxes, plastic bags, wraps and packing materials. They must also have original UPC codes on the box, contain all manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation provided by Vialta.


Any original item(s) missing from the package will be charged an additional rate. This rate will be equal to the price of the missing product or accessories as determined by the current price for product and/or accessories as posted on Vialta's consumer Internet website located /retailers.htm.


Shipping and handling costs cannot be refunded. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges on returned items shipped back to Vialta except for defective units. Vialta pays all shipping up to 90 days if the product is deemed defective or the fault of Vialta. If no fault is found of Vialta, then the customer pays for all return shipments. Vialta pays the shipping and handling charges on the replacement and exchange items shipped from Vialta to the customer.


Vialta strongly recommends you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged. Also, we recommend you use a carrier that can provide you with shipment tracking and proof of delivery for your protection.


If your order arrives damaged, it is best to REFUSE delivery from the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package, make sure it is noted on the carrier's delivery record that the item is damaged in order to file a damage claim. Save the merchandise AND the original box and packaging it arrived in, notify Vialta immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged product(s). If you do not notify Vialta of damaged product within the first 15 days of receipt of product, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer's restrictions.


Defective products can be returned within 90 days from the date of sale, at Vialta's discretion, for replacement, exchange or repair. Defective products returned within 90 days from the date of sale are covered for both parts and labor. Defective products returned after 90 days and before one year from date of sale are covered for parts only.


You may ONLY return items to Vialta if they were purchased from Vialta's online store. If you purchased the product from any source other than Vialta's online store, such as a retailer, you must return the product to the original place of purchase.


Vialta reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the date of sale. If the product is accepted after 30 days from date of sale, credit will be issued toward FUTURE PURCHASES ONLY.
